The Very Best Organic Cheeses
We pride ourselves on creating the very best organic cheeses on the market today. Some of our specialty cheeses are created at our Farmer’s All-Natural Creamery (FANC) in Kalona, Iowa, and still others are produced by small, artisan cheese makers located throughout the Midwest.
At our Creamery, each batch of cheese milk is vat pasteurized and personally watched over by our cheese makers’ masterful eyes.
Our buttermilk yogurt cheese is made partially with true, sweet buttermilk from our butter churn, yielding the unique flavor reminiscent of the old-fashioned cheese recipes containing buttermilk from yesteryear. All of our FANC cheeses are organic, including our buttermilk/yogurt, white cheddar, mozzarella, and Monterey Jack. Kalona Organics plans to offer more cheeses in the near future so check back soon!
