Fresh Orange Coffee Cake
1 large orange |
1/2 c. Farmers’ All Natural Creamery |
Preheat oven to 350 F. Butter a 9 or 10 inch tube pan. Squeeze orange
and reserve juice. Place entire orange in blender with Farmers’ All
Natural Creamery organic
milk and Farmers’ Hen House eggs. Blend
on high until finely chopped.
Combine flour and baking soda in small bowl and set aside. In a medium
bowl cream butter and honey. Add orange mixture to creamed Farmers’ All
Natural Creamery organic butter butter and honey.
Then add four, craisins, and nuts. Mix and pour into pan. Bake 40-45 minutes,
until spring back when pressed. Sprinkle reserved juice over hot cake and leave
in pan until nearly cool. Remove from pan and allow to finish cooling.
Serves 10
For a special treat, dollop each serving with freshly whipped cream.
